Water and Environment Środowisko

Municipal Water and Sewage Company in Wrocław has established a competence center called „Water and Environment”(CCWE). It is yet another iniciative of the New Technologies Center (R&D Department within the company structure) which succesfully has been operating for over 5 years. The CCWE entities specializing in water and environment areas. It also includes a group of experts in management science and economy.

The main objective of the CCWE is to suport reasearch, development and implementation projects in the following areas:

– engeenering and environmental protection

– water and sewarage management

– technics and technologies for water purification and wastewater treatment

The results are already tangible. They include among others, innovative reasearch stations at Mokry Dwór Water Treatment Plant as well as Wrocław’s Waste Water Treatment Plant. The Center is also conducting reasearch on water bearing areas infiltration intensification. Simultaneously it is teasting renewable energy sources within the local climat conditions.

By developing environment friendly technologies, CCWE aims to improve the quality of life of local communities by minimazing the environment negative impact generated by utility campanies. Moreover, thanks to the transparency policy, promoting developed solutions is the key element of our strategy.
