Coordinate Measuring Center is an initiative created by Laboratory of Coordinate Metrology Cracow University of Technology – a research and development unit, which specializes in measurement and imaging objects by means of coordinate methods and systems.

The laboratory has the greatest  scientific and technical experience in coordinate metrology. It is equipped with the latest systems to perform measurements of objects from macro scale to nano scale. Laboratory of Coordinate Metrology (CMM LAB) is accredited calibration laboratory (No. AP 132) for: calibration of coordinate measuring systems, calibration of artefacts.

The goals of Coordinate Measuring Center established within The Highway Technology
and Innovation Institute (IATI) are: creating joint teams to carry out research and development projects in the field of metrology; undertaking common initiatives, which are a combination of science and industrial practice;  implementing metrology solutions in business which result from organized projects; promoting metrological issues.
